Introducing AASHTOWare PermitRoute
June 26, 2024In May 2024, AASHTOWare and ProMiles Software Development Corporation announced a new strategic alliance. This alliance centers around the Oversize/Overweight Permitting and Routing solution from ProMiles, now rebranded as AASHTOWare PermitRoute.
AASHTOWare PermitRoute is a cloud-based, automated solution designed to meet the real-time permitting and routing needs of state and local transportation agencies for oversized and overweight loads. The system evaluates user preferences, equipment and load attributes, and route restrictions to identify the safest possible routes.
This alliance ensures seamless integration with all major load rating tools, including AASHTOWare Bridge Rating, providing a convenient and efficient load rating process that complies with Federal Highway Administration regulations.
For existing ProMiles customers, there will be no changes. New licensees will now order through the AASHTOWare catalog, offering a streamlined and familiar ordering process consistent with other AASHTOWare products.
