User Group

The BrM User Group (BrMUG) meeting is an annual event where customers and partners come together to hear from AASHTOWare Bridge Management software experts and provides an opportunity to hear about the strategic direction of the software, vote on priority enhancements, understand how other states are implementing and using the AASHTOWare Bridge Management software to support their needs. Training sessions and presentations on new and upcoming software features are provided allowing for robust discussion and feedback directly from users of the most robust asset management platform in the United States.

Training

To help agencies get started on using AASHTOWare Bridge Management software, the Task Force and Mayvue have several tools available to assist with orientation and answering questions.

User Group Meetings are held annually for members of the user community to learn more about the software through presentations, training sessions, and forums. Documentation is available within the software, video guides/tutorials are available on YouTube, and you can always contact us to obtain additional information.

 

Documentation

The perfect place for agencies to get started with the AASHTOWare Bridge Management software is the Orientation for New Users.

  • Online User Manual: Within BrM, help can be found by clicking on the question mark (?) icon in the top right corner of any screen. This tool contains basic details for every screen and controls in the software, as well as Appendix A which gives an overview of the optimization process, and Appendices B and C which give a guided walk-through of running a program optimization.
  • Technical Manual: Starting with BrM version 6, there is an extensive Technical Manual available to licensed BrM agencies. This manual provides greater detail about the behind-the-scenes processes and calculations and processes to fully inform the BrM users. The Technical Manual also covers installation details, orientation to the database, and the optimization process.

Video Guides & Tutorials

The BrM YouTube channel has a variety of videos on BrM, including patch release overviews, details on new enhancements, and past webinars. The channel is actively being updated – Be sure to subscribe to stay up to date.

Support Center

Members of BrM’s user community can submit bugs, maintenance items, and enhancement requests to Mayvue’s dedicated support team. These requests can be submitted online through support.mayvue.com, via email to support@mayvue.com, or via telephone at (877) 462-9883. Once submitted, users can view past requests and associated comments, add new requests, and escalate tickets if needed.

AASHTOWare Bridge Design and Rating

User Group

The Rating and Design Bridge Users Group (RADBUG) is a community of members representing their respective agencies to provide guidance and support for AASHTOWare BrDR products. Feedback from the Users Group is implemented by the BrDR Task Force, which dictates the product roadmap and manages project development. The Users Group input is collected during the annual RADBUG meeting via presentations, discussion forums, and ultimately – enhancement voting.

Training

Comprehensive training materials have been developed AASHTOWare Bridge Design and AASHTOWare Bridge Rating to assist agencies in utilizing these software programs. These include videos to help users understand the software interface and various functionalities, tutorials to provide information on more specific topics , and training documentation prepared by User Groups. These training materials are an essential component of enabling agencies to maximize the benefits of using these powerful software tools. By utilizing these resources, users can improve their proficiency and understanding of the software, leading to more effective bridge design and rating outcomes.

For users of AASHTOWare Bridge Design and AASHTOWare Bridge Rating software, support is available to address any technical issues that may arise. Our website provides details on how to contact our support team for assistance, as well as product release schedules. We offer several types of technical support to assist with software issues, including a support service desk (which requires login credentials), technical notes, tutorials, software downloads (including patches), email support, and a phone number for direct assistance. Users can also subscribe to the AASHTOWare Bridge Design and Bridge Rating Mailing List to receive critical bug notifications, service pack updates, and technical notes.
